He was only a few hours by plane from New York or Los Angeles. Local food is reflected in the many restaurants that stood facing the beach, although international tastes are also served.

Gran cenote is the best place to cool the blood. It was located about 20 minutes drive from Tulum (directed cars to try, then, after four miles, look for signs that read Gran cenote in the right way).
Cenote comes from the Mayan language “dzonot” meaning “healthy.” This place is save the sweet-water caves and some underground river. I entered the small cave stalagmites and stalactites are overgrown. Tickets go for $ 49. Snorkeling equipment, including shoes, frogs can be rented $ 5 per set.

Ceviche menu presented lively and rich flavor in Ocho Tulum. Contents: shrimp, grouper, avocado, corn, plus octopus hanging on the lip of the cup jumbo (need two hands to hold it), and umbrella ginger, coriander, and lemon. This tasty seafood is best enjoyed with guacamole (the classic Mexican menu, made from avocado) and the local cold Modelo Especial beer. Food prices are relatively affordable: about $ 30 for two people. Come on your lunch hour, you’ll get the bonus attraction of the spectacle in the form of kite surfers gliding over the waves using the pull of the wind.

Tulum save historic relics of Mayan port city perched on a cliff overlooking the Caribbean Sea. Although less majestic than similar ruins at Chichen Itza (a three hour drive), but this place only an hour from downtown Tulum, so you can enjoy history tour without wasting much time.
